Your Challenge

  • Supports the Company’s quality system, environmental system, health and safety system in compliance with MedservRegis an relevant ISO standard requirements including attending audits.
  •  Support and provide oversight to Pre-shift Planning meetings, Pre-shift briefs, Control of Work requirements, Lifesaving Rules, Leadership Tours, Tool Box Talks & HSSEQ Inductions for employees, clients, contractors and visitors.
  • Perform and or assist in accident/incident investigations and the compilation of reports, record and monitor relevant corrective actions to close out as well as verifications of actions.
  •  Undertake all site safety inspections according to the site programme and put in place corrective actions inclusive of behavioural safety monitoring as per the daily, weekly, monthly HSSEQ Plan.
  • Provide support to the HSSEQ Manager and Malta Country Manager for any other requests if competent to do so.
  • Day-weekly and monthly HSE duties such as fire extinguisher, FA box, Eyewash, AED and housekeeping inspections of all areas.
  • CCU & Falco frames coordination with JG/Rigging loft assistant.
  • HSE operations including checking of PIC personnel and display permit control, line of fire and stop works controls for all activities.
  • Waste segregations areas checks of all designated sites.
  • Provide support with coaching, training and auditing requirements for the promotion of the HSSEQ strategy.
  • Maintain HSSEQ records, statistics, reports (EHS System) in accordance with MedservRegis Group requirements.

Who Are You

  • Experience in the use of web-based tools such as Microsoft Office and Cloud Based Systems.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English communication.
  • Tertiary Level of education.
  • Experience in H&S operations environment.
  • Experience in HSSEQ system activities.
  • Ideally holder of a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
  • Holder of a valid and clean driving license, category B and C.
  • Holder of a valid work permit issued by respective Maltese authorities.
  • Ideally, holder of a valid First Aid certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and clients.
  • Able and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.
