Our Namibian team had the privilege of hosting NRO Consulting for a site visit at their Walvis Bay yard. Andrew and his team are dedicated to providing fundamental QHSSE training to Namibians preparing to enter the oil and gas industry. The visit provided an opportunity to give students a practical view of how QHSSE is embedded in the day‑to‑day operations of a supply base — from risk identification in the work environment to an overview of equipment typically used during offshore exploration campaigns. The level of engagement and interest shown by the students was encouraging, and we are confident they are taking meaningful steps toward building strong and sustainable career paths in the industry.
