We are seeking for Crane Operators with extensive experience in operating a mobile crane to lift, move , position and reposition load. Good knowledge on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control of a diverse array of heavy lifting and earthmoving machinery, particularly Terex and Liebherr cranes.
Your Challenge…
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes within the designed (SWL) loads in accordance with the de-rating tables applicable to existing weather and sea state condition.
- Ensure that the safe work procedures for crane lifts are adhered to including all pre-use crane checks.
- Check before every lifting that the weights are in the capacity limits of the crane and that will be present all the conditions to implement the lifting (correct rigging, acceptable weather conditions, lift area free of people).
- Reporting any malfunction / damages immediately.
- Ensure that only marked, certified and suitable lifting appliances are used and available for use for lifting purposes.
- Make daily inspection of crane cable and condition.
- Maintain the cranes clean on a daily basis including operator cabin.
- Fill up the crane logbook as required for all lifts.
- Carry out properly all orders and instructions given by his superior.
- Operate the crane of the required capacity at the operations pipe yards or any other designated area in full compliance with the designated task and applicable safe systems of work, speed limitations and HSE standards.
- Present a positive image of the company through first class service and have clear / positive customer engagement.
- Strictly follow all instructions of management and immediately report any unsafe situations, incidents, and other abnormalities.
- Ensuring full compliance with applicable safe systems of work, load limits and MedservRegis Group Operational and HSSEQ standards during crane operations.
- Ensuring ground conditions are fit for purpose prior to commencement of crane operations.
- Adhere to the Company’s Safe Driving Operation rules to and obey speed limits especially restricted areas.
Health, Safety, and Quality:
- Maintain safe working conditions and comply with Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
- Adhere to company policies, including safety protocols and use of protective equipment.
- Support Management in preparation and preventing any negative environmental impact.
- Stop the job when not sure about something or conditions are unsafe or when conditions are unsafe to continue.
- No smoking policy in crane or other transportation vehicles.
Team Collaboration and Additional Duties:
- Collaborate with the integrated operations team to achieve goals and implement continuous Operational improvements taking into consideration operational needs.
- Perform additional duties as required by the company to meet organizational needs.
- Respond to emergency service calls and perform other tasks as required.
Who Are You…
- Professional qualification/Certification as a Crane Operator with related standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Crane Operator in a heavy equipment environment.
- Proven experience working with heavy equipment (e.g., cranes, forklifts, trucks) is a must.
- Knowledge of written and spoken English
- Strong safety awareness.
- A basic knowledge of LOLER and PUWER Regulations.
- Ideally in possession of ADR license – Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
- IT knowledge for on-board computer.
- Manual Handling Awareness. Ability to communicate and be a team member.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical and hydraulic system troubleshooting and calibration.
- Prior experience working internationally, particularly in challenging and diverse environments
