This is a senior leadership role, central to ensuring strong financial control, regulatory compliance, and informed decision-making in support of our operations and long-term growth within the CARICOM Region.

This position is open to suitably qualified local candidates and is not an expatriate role.

Your Challenge…

  • Lead and oversee all financial operations and reporting across the country and Caricom region, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, providing strategic insights and recommendations to Management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, IFRS schedules, and Group reporting packages, including detailed variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Ensure full compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and internal financial policies and controls.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness and closure of findings.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, including profitability analysis, risk assessments, and investment appraisals to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of financial systems and workflows.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering high performance, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, including the Country Manager, CFO, and Finance Director, to align financial strategy with business objectives.
  • Provide operational finance support across sales, procurement, banking, and project activities, including the development of financial models for projects and business units.

Who Are You…

  • A qualified finance professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A Master’s degree, MBA, CPA, or ACCA qualification is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership finance role, ideally within a multi-site or complex operational environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS, regulatory compliance, and financial governance.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and statutory reporting.
  • Highly proficient in financial systems and advanced MS Excel / financial modelling tools.
  • Experience within the Oil & Gas or related industrial sectors is a strong advantage.
  • A confident leader with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop finance teams.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of translating complex financial data into clear business insights.
  • An effective communicator, comfortable engaging with senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Dutch.
  • Legally entitled to live and work locally without employer sponsorship.
