We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HSSEQ Manager to join our dynamic METS team in Oman.

Your Challenge…

  • Lead the implementation and improvement of HSSEQ systems across Oman operations, ensuring alignment with ISO standards and local/client requirements.
  • Act as the senior HSSEQ representative and main contact for clients on all HSSEQ matters.
  • Oversee audits (internal, ISO, and client) and ensure timely closeout of incidents, KPIs, and non-conformances.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to HSSEQ site teams and support staff.
  • Drive serious incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Manage HSSEQ training programs and promote initiatives such as behavioural safety and environmental protection.
  • Collaborate on risk assessments, contractor assurance, and business continuity with regional and country teams.

Who Are You…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • NEBOSH (IGC/Diploma), NVQ Level 5, IOSH membership, and ISO Lead Auditor certifications (9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Minimum 10 years’ HSSEQ experience, including 5+ years in a senior or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of OCTG handling and oil & gas service operations, including Quayside or Pipe Yard experience.
  • Proven expertise in audits, inspections, compliance, and incident investigations.
  • Strong leadership, planning and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple sites under pressure.
  • Proficient in HSSEQ training delivery and MS Office; familiarity with EHS systems (e.g. SAI360, SAP) is a plus.
