We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our Technical Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out surface preparation, blasting, priming, and painting works to the highest quality standards, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and in accordance with company and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities
As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare and stage parts and welded assemblies for surface preparation, painting, and assembly.
- Set up tools and equipment for blasting, surface preparation, and coating activities.
- Carry out surface preparation, priming, and painting of equipment, structures, and assets to company standards.
- Remove rust, scale, and contaminants using approved methods.
- Apply coatings using brush, roller, conventional spray, and airless spray techniques.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and identify improvement opportunities.
- Report and assist in resolving production and quality issues.
- Operate UHP hydroblasting equipment (training provided).
- Work safely in confined spaces and at height when required (training and PPE provided).
- Understand surface preparation standards and coating requirements, including WFT, DFT, pot life, and overcoating intervals.
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Experience in sanding, surface preparation, and painting metal surfaces to quality standards.
- Experience using workshop power tools, equipment, and painting systems safely.
- MQF Level 2 qualification or higher, preferably in a relevant technical field.
- Good communication skills in English and/or Maltese.
- Basic administrative and record-keeping skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Experience with UHP hydroblasting equipment and/or a Blaster Painter certification is considered an asset.
- In possession of a clean Driving Licence (Category B) due to work location accessibility.
- In possession of a clean criminal record.
- Holder of a valid work permit issued by the relevant Maltese authorities.
- Accurate, precise, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
- A reliable team player with a cooperative, respectful, and professional attitude.
