We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our Central IT team based in Malta. This role supports users and systems across multiple countries within the Group and plays a key part in maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure.
The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical support, assist with system administration, and contribute to the continuous improvement of core IT platforms and services across the business.
This position offers exposure to a diverse international environment and the opportunity to work across multiple jurisdictions, supporting operational sites and corporate functions.
Your Challenge
As an IT Support Specialist within our Central IT function, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of IT services across multiple countries within the Group. Operating in a structured and well-governed environment, you will support users and systems while working with modern enterprise platforms and infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
User & System Support
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, and applications
- Diagnosing and resolving second-line hardware, software, and network issues
- Providing responsive technical support to users across corporate and remote locations
User & Access Administration
- Managing user accounts, devices, and permissions in line with approved policies and access controls
- Supporting onboarding, offboarding, and role-based access changes
- Executing administrative tasks responsibly within established security frameworks
Infrastructure & Technology Support
- Supporting corporate IT infrastructure including networks, Wi-Fi, CCTV, and access control systems
- Assisting with system upgrades, new technology rollouts, and office infrastructure projects
- Supporting server room organisation, backups, and replication activities
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Working in line with IT security standards, change management processes, and corporate policies
- Maintaining accurate documentation of incidents, configurations, and administrative actions
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the IT function
Who Are You
We are looking for a proactive and structured IT professional who thrives in a collaborative, multi-country environment.
Must-Haves:
- 2–5 years’ experience in IT support or systems administration
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft enterprise environments (Entra ID, Intune, Office 365)
- Solid understanding of endpoint management and TCP/IP networking
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to manage elevated administrative access with responsibility and discretion
- Excellent spoken and written English
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with SharePoint or Azure Virtual Desktop
- Microsoft or other relevant IT certifications
- Experience supporting multi-site or international operations
