This week, we embraced an age-old Maltese tradition and treated our team to L-Għadam tal-Mejtin—the traditional sweet almond-based pastry also known as “Bones of the Dead.”
This delicacy has been enjoyed in Malta for nearly 500 years, dating back to the arrival of the Knights of Malta.
Made from rich almond paste and decorated with sugar icing, L-Għadam tal-Mejtin symbolizes a deep respect for our past and is traditionally served in honor of those who came before us. Sharing this unique treat with our team was a way of connecting with our culture, remembering our roots, and, most importantly, appreciating each other.
