After successfully executing offshore Blasting and Painting jobs, Medserv’s Maintenance Division has been further strengthened through a strategic partnership with Oxifree, a leading US based producer of corrosion protection polymeric solutions for the Oil and Gas and Maritime industries.

Corrosion on average accounts for 20% of the total maintenance costs incurred on offshore structures such as rigs and fixed offshore oil and gas platforms. Oxifree’s solutions have been adopted by companies of the calibre of Petrobras and Saipem who are applying the patented polyeric applications to its fleet of rigs, vessels and offshore structures.

Medserv Malta are now the official representatives for Oxifree Metal Protection in Southern Europe and Northern Africa. The group hosted the official launch on Wednesday 19th February at the Corinthia San Gorg, where Oxifree representatives provided a live demonstration of the product.
